Agencies New Delhi, March 4 Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said his Government follows the mantra of development of the country through the development of States. Speaking after launching multiple developmental projects related to the power, rail and road sectors worth 56 thousand crore rupees relating to different States, Mr Modi said if the country s economy becomes stronger, this will boost investors confidence in the country and States will also benefit by attracting more investments. The Prime Minister said the entire world has been discussing the rapid pace of India s economic development for the past 3 4 years. He emphasised that the pace of development will further go up in the days to come. Mr Modi recalled that 25 crore people were lifted out of poverty mainly due to welfare schemes being implemented by the Centre for the Poor. Speaking at the BJP Vijay Sankalp Sabha later, he asserted that 140 crore Indians are his family and criticised the dynasty parties, saying that they may have different faces, but jhoot and loot were their common characters. Mr Modi said he had dedicated himself to public welfare as a servant.
